Michael Anthony Hart

Dr. Hart is a citizen of Fisher River Cree Nation and residing in Alberta, Canada. Currently he is the Vice Provost for Indigenous Engagement at the University of Calgary and Professor in the Faculty of Social Work. He was the Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Knowledges and Social Work from 2012 to 2018 at the University of Manitoba. He has researched, published, and presented extensively in Indigenous social work, Indigenist social work, and anti-colonial perspectives.
